At First Christian Church, a non-denominational church, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to the 10:15 a.m. service.
Our church is located at 1025 McCleary Street, and parking is located in a side parking lot and with plenty of street parking as well. If you have mobility restrictions we offer a sturdy ramp from the outside to the Sanctuary and a chair lift to help access other areas of the building.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress.
When you walk in, find one of our greeters and introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the front door and they'll gladly show you where everything is. They'll help you find the nursery and Sunday school rooms if you have kids. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms, sanctuary and fellowship area. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.
Our congregation is small but spiritually healthy and big in heart with welcoming arms. We have growth goals and would love to have you help with those goals. You will find a comfortable church home with us.
Bible School lasts one hour and our morning worship service usually lasts 75 minutes. Fellowship with others is an intricate aspect of who we are. We would love to get to know you so you are a familiar face the next time you come.
