I would like to ask us all to set our alarms on our clocks and on our phones for 7 P.M. each evening. When the alarm goes off, take a moment to pray for our country and resolve for the problem that currently plagues the world will soon pass. There is much to be said about our prayers being lifted together and that uplifting experience that will come from doing so. The alarm going off will be a reminder to our need to depend on God in times like these. When mine goes off, it reminds me to stop what I doing and to spend some time concentrating on the greatness of God, thanking Him for the blessings of the day, remembering those in need, and asking help in this challenging time. As the universal slogan that is being used in reference to the Corona Virus, “We’re in This Together”, our praying together in unity keeps this slogan live even in the church.
